8.2.16 Having looked at the theory, now was time for the practical. Accurate measuring and squishing! Look at the results: 36%, 39%, 40% & 41% air.

23.11.15 This week KS2 Maths extension is children from all KS2 classes working in vertical groups to solve practical problems. They had to work out, without measuring anything , how may balloons would it take to fill the main hall.

30.11.15 This week the children had to measure accurately to work out how many balloons are needed to fill the hall. Archimedes helped with the volume of the ballon!
