SENCo 0.6 FTE Required for September 2020

 

Salary: MPS/UPR + SEND Allowance £2,209 (pro-rota)                                                                            

Location: The Willows Primary School, Ipswich, Suffolk

Contract type: Part-Time               

Contract term: Permanent

The Willows Primary School is a unique, exciting place to work on an exciting journey of improvement. We are looking for someone with a passion for inclusion and an interest in special educational needs and disabilities. The successful candidate will hold a SENCo award (or is currently in training) and have a proven track of good outcomes for pupils.

 

The We are offering this post as 0.6 FTE post, however specific working hours are flexible and can be arranged to fit around the

        applicant’s commitments as long as 19.5 hours per week are covered.

       

        We require a SENCo who:

  • Has a proven track record of consistently good and outstanding teaching,
  • Has experience of developing and leading provision for a range of SEND pupils.
  • Has a good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Is able to work collaborative with a range of professionals from health and social care.
  • Can establish good working relationships with parents/ carers.
  • Has experience of leading a team and can inspire and motivate others.
  • Is committed to securing the best outcomes for our children and their families.
  • Has good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Has good organisation skills and ability to prioritise their work.
